Work Package 6: Policy Recommendations

Description

In WP6, policy recommendations for Austria will be developed based on the results from the choice experiment, the simulation results, the literature review and stakeholder discussions. The policy recommendations will focus on how to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of PV support in Austria and how to overcome financial and non-financial barriers for PV investment. Moreover, the recommendations will address supporting factors for an accelerated deployment of residential PV systems. The recommendations will be developed in cooperation with stakeholders (e.g. interest groups, ministries, NGOs) in order to ensure their practical feasibility, effectiveness and compliance with the overall goal of decarbonisation. The goal is also to find new ways to enable low-income households, often disadvantaged female-headed households, without sufficient financial resources to participate in PV.
